Pat Miller earned her bachelor and master degrees in education and has certifications as an elementary educator, reading specialist, and library media specialist. She was a classroom teacher for 15 years in grades 2–5 and is enjoying her eighteenth year as a school librarian for a suburban district near Houston, Texas.

Pat is Contributing Editor for LibrarySparks magazine, has published more than 100 professional articles, and is the author of many professional books.
